Health & Hygiene
To ensure “Period” is a taboo-free and hygienic experience for young school girls and women in their families, we distributed a total of 25,000+ packets of sanitary napkins in 2022-23.
To safely discard used sanitary napkins and save the environment from pollution, we installed 18 incinerators across several schools.
In 2022-23, we distributed over 23,000 bottles of multivitamins to school children to support their physical growth, mental development, and immune system health.
Over 4,000 pairs of underwear were distributed to school children in 2022-23 to help them build safe hygiene practices and boost their dignity and self-esteem.
Since its inception in 2012, AITYS has conducted 69 medical camps providing primary medical care to villagers, health checkups by a physician & the distribution of non-prescription medicines.
